The death of Mrs. Rosanne Gautreau, widow of Eddie Gautreau of Pré-d'en Haut, occurred Thursday at the home of her daughter in Springfield, Mass. She was 77.

Born at Fox Creek, she was a daughter of the late Nastom and Sylvie (Dupuis) LeBlanc. Her husband died in November of last year.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. René Bourgeois (Rita) of Springfield and Mrs. Johnny Arsenault (Florine) of Pré-d'en-Haut; eight sons, Armand of Moncton, Eric and Léandre, both of Fox Creek, Ronald of Memramcook West, Clément, Gérard, Ulysse and Francis, all of Pré-d'en-Haut; five sisters, Mrs. Ida Drisdelle, Miss Eloise LeBlanc, both of Fox Creek, Mrs. Eugénie LeBlanc of Lynn, Mass., Mrs. Eddie Bourgeois (Evéline) of Belliveau Village, Sister Hermance LeBlanc of Bathurst; five brothers, George of Lynn, Johnny of Moncton, Eddie, Edmond and Fred LeBlanc, all of Fox Creek; two sisters-in-law Mrs. Vézina Thibodeau of Waltham, Mass., Mrs. Aimé Gauvin (Bella) of Moncton; 33 grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

The body will rest at Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook, Saturday. Mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, at 4 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be held in the Pré-d'en-Haut cemetery later in the spring.
